Chetna works as an Associate with RMI India. Her work is focussed on supporting the realisation of a clean mobility future for India.
Background
Prior to RMI India, Chetna was working with Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation. She was supporting the Electric Mobility Initiative (EMI) of India, a multi-funder platform to accelerate EV adoption. She was working on a variety of projects ranging from EV manufacturing, adoption, charging infrastructure and awareness. Her major responsibilities included preparing sectoral strategy, conducting research to develop new concepts, managing grant awards, and communication with external and internal stakeholders. Further, she has worked on areas such as clean cooling and Kigali Amendment. She initially interned with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and the energy efficiency team at Shakti.
